Case Western Reserve Univ. Hit with Class Action for Failing to Refund Tuition, Fees

By Leeds Brown Law | October 16, 2020

CLEVELAND, OH – Case Western Reserve Univ. is among the latest universities accused of retaining their students’ tuition and fees, even though the University was unable to provide all of the on-campus and in-person services that students paid for. According to a lawsuit filed in North District of Ohio on Oct. 14, 2020, Case Western breached its contract with the students to provide in-person and on-campus classes and the University should not be able to unjustly retain full tuition and full fees when it was unable to provide the full amount of services promised.

Named Plaintiff Daniel Lozada, along with Jeffrey K. Brown of Leeds Brown Law, P.C., who aims to represents the group of students at Case Western, were interviewed by Cleveland 19 a day after the lawsuit was filed and the allegations contained in the complaint.
